Sponsorship has become a key aspect of the Group’s marketing strategy.  To this end, AccorHotels develops partnerships in the sport and entertainment sectors by associating its name with international events.    These collaborations allow the Group to develop special bonds with its guests, share its unique know-how with partners and investors, and boost its brands’ notoriety both in France and the rest of the world.

 Accorhotels has recently launched a sponsorship initiative which is new to France. Last 8th October, it announced the signing of a ten-year naming rights agreement for the AccorHotels Arena, which is one of the world’s five largest concert halls and sports arenas! After 18 months of refurbishment, it has reopened to offer cutting edge technology and the latest in visitor facilities.

This strategic partnership is a brand new way of conveying hospitality beyond our hotels and making the Group a preferred partner for travelers. Indeed, thanks to this partnership, the 23 million Le Club AccorHotels members will enjoy preferential offers for events hosted at this venue, for example, presales before the tickets go on sale to the general public, access to exclusive content and dedicated services.

This partnership also serves as a tremendous showcase for all the Group’s know-how as it shares its passion for hospitality with the general public.

The AccorHotels Arena is a lively, welcoming, connected and innovative, new Paris hotspot with hospitality and leisure areas that will enrich the visitor experience.  It is also a venue that is 100% connected through mass Wi-Fi and will communicate permanently with spectators and the neighborhood on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram...) and via a network of more than 370 screens.

However, the AccorHotels Arena is above all an exceptional architectural venue with a friendly atmosphere, which boasts an international program with over 120 shows, 30 different arena layouts and up to 20,300 seats!

Welcome to the AccorHotels Arena!



On 27th August 2014 AccorHotels teamed up with the French Football Federation, and will support the French national squads, the French Cup as well as amateur football teams until 30th June 2018! In this capacity, Accorhotels.com, the Group’s booking portal, now sponsors the French national football team, the French national under-21 football team, the French women’s national football team, the French Cup and amateur football. This partnership also includes the French Cups, of which AccorHotels is an Official Supplier. 

All AccorHotels addresses will be involved in this partnership via the booking platform, offering accommodation for fans, for the French Football Federation’s two million plus members and 17,000 clubs, notably with special deals for the athletes and their management staff.  


Many events, contests, invitations to matches and training sessions at Clairefontaine, as well as special deals, will also be on offer.   


AccorHotels is also now present at many tennis tournaments in France and elsewhere. For example, in 2015 it became the official hotelier to Roland-Garros (the French Open), one of the most prestigious clay court tournaments and the second of the four Grand Slam tournaments.  Roland-Garros is also a fortnight devoted to celebrating the French “art de vivre”, and therefore serves as an ideal opportunity to sample the Group’s “unbeatable service” in hospitality!

As well as a private reception area at the Partners’ Village and court-side seats in the stadium’s mythical courts, AccorHotels will be able to look after its guests and the players at the three locations where services are provided Conciergerie by Sofitel, its luxury brand. 


AccorHotels is also a partner of the BNP Paribas Masters (Masters 1000, ATP World Tour, WTA Championship). Throughout the tournament, AccorHotels was responsible for several initiatives, including the highly innovative players’ bench on the center court and the special Feel Welcome moment which attracted the attention of the top seed player, Stanislas Wawrinka himself!

Lastly, by becoming an Official Partner of the Australian Open, AccorHotels will be visible at Australia’s largest sports event which attracts close to 700,000 visitors every year.  This gives it yet another opportunity to offer fans and players a five-star service. 



From the Evian Masters to The Evian Championship (AccorHotels)

We reflect a certain French “art de vivre”, and as such share the values of golf, for example a passion for detail, a spirit of conviviality and a quest for perfection!  The Group has been an Official Partner of the Evian Masters since 2007, and remains loyal to this competition which in 2013 joined the very exclusive circle of major world women’s golf tournaments.

Located in an idyllic setting between the sea and the mountains, every year The Evian Championship attracts about 45,000 visitors and the world’s 120 best women golfers.

Novotel has been associated with the Novotel Perrier Open de France, now the Alstom Open de France, since 1999. The brand is now an Official Partner of this major golfing event which is organized in France, at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Golf National course and attracts top players on the European and international professional golf tours.

For the first time, at the 2015 edition which was held from 2nd to 5th July this year, Novotel invited all the members of the French Golf Federation to take part in an “all-in-one” challenge at the Open Village.  The prize for the winners of this challenge was a weekend for two including breakfast at a Novotel address.


Lastly, the brand, which has been an Official Supplier of the French Golf Federation since 2007, has renewed its commitment until 2018. Novotel is therefore the official sponsor of the French players, their staff and of the federation’s golf competitions.


The Group’s budget brand, ibis budget, has been an official partner of the Tour de France since 2006.  Now, AccorHotels is continuing its commitment to this event with all the ibis family brands:  ibis, ibis Styles and ibis budget.

The ibis family is therefore the official supplier of the Tour de France until 2018 and is contributing another chapter to the history of a lasting partnership, highlighting its attachment to the values it shares with this competition, namely: conviviality, family and proximity.

The ibis family is also a network of 869 addresses in France (1,929 worldwide) for a largescale competition that brings together the cyclists and 12 million spectators every year and as such is also the ideal opportunity to communicate about the great deals and good rates the three bands offer on www.ibis.com
