Accor rewarded for its digital innovation

Since June 2013, Accor has been testing an innovative system developed by the company SEEing for recruiting future receptionists. A pre-selection process using an on-line questionnaire, includes multiple-choice type questions, open questions enabling candidates to recount their professional achievements, and webcam modules to test their language skills.

The aims: identify potential candidates without relevant training or experience in the hotel professions, but with good customer relations skills. An effective means of optimising the pre-recruitment process.

Through SEEing’s pre-selection process, Accor is innovating with its recruitment method and optimising its HR process. The best profiles are identified automatically, the operational potential of candidates is immediately visible, the recruitment criteria become clearer.

This initiative was awarded with the Grand Prix for digital innovation at the Trophées SIRH 2013 rewarding companies using new communication and distribution methods in their HRMS (Human Resources Management System).
