Belgium: Accor close to students!
The Human Resources Team of Accor in Belgium have organised various seminars for students.
The professors and the final year students of the Hotel Management School Erasmus Hogeschool participated in a two day session to discover the Accor Group. After a presentation of the Group’s development strategy, a spotlight on the Sofitel brand through an interactive presentation of luxury hotels, service attitude and the search for excellence was exhibited. Then, the importance of e-commerce for Accor was stated, the traineeship and job opportunities for young graduates, in particular in Asia, were presented and the rebranding of ibis, ibis budget and ibis Styles was explained. The Académie Accor was also among the topics covered as were quality certifications and security in the hotels.
Moreover, the final year students of the Plantijn School of Management participated in an Accor seminar at Novotel Anvers. On the agenda: a global presentation of the Group, then presentations on development and franchise, rebranding and the advantages of working for Accor. After each speech the students had the opportunity to converse with the speakers.
These seminars allow the Accor Human Resources team to meet young talents interested in Hospitality jobs while presenting the Group’s key expectations.
