Ibis Styles sets out to conquer the world
This fall, ibis Styles confirmed its expansion in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The brand has chosen three new countries, Poland, Egypt and Malaysia to open its four latest flagship hotels which each brilliantly showcase the brand’s hallmark style through their architecture and original interiors.
The ibis Styles Gdynia Reda in Poland, the ibis Styles Dahab Lagoon in Egypt, the ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park and the ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras in Malaysia, are the new hotels that represent the brand’s worldwide expansion.
Poland and its first ibis Styles
The ibis Styles Gdynia Reda is a franchised hotel located in Reda, North Poland. It is a region people travel through on the Berlin-Gdansk route, and a prime location. The 86-room hotel has four floors, each with a different color code: orange, yellow, green and blue and provides a colorful, warm setting for guests on both tourism and business trips.
An Egyptian ibis Styles hotel
The brand’s first hotel in Egypt and the Middle East, the 139-room ibis Styles Dahab Lagoon has a breathtaking view of the Red Sea. This resort hotel is located in Dahab on the Sinai Peninsula overlooking the large white sand beach and the desert. It offers guests sport activities such as windsurfing, kite surfing and diving in the waters of the remarkable coral reefs. The impressive Saint Catherine’s Monastery and the town of Sharm El Sheikh, which is the birthplace of the region’s tourist industry, are just a few kilometers away.
An ibis Styles duet in Malaysia
Ibis Styles is also opening its first establishments in the center of Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.
These openings confirm the brand’s continued expansion in the Asia Pacific region.
The 500-room ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park is the brand’s largest hotel. It is located in the new, fashionable Sungei Besi retail zone, close to the Chan Sow Lin Light Rail Transit (LRT) station which provides guests with easy access to Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, the city’s famed business, shopping and entertainment hub.
Just outside the city, the 156-room ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras has opened in the animated South Cheras industrial district located between the city center and the international airport. The hotel is adjacent to the well-known C180 shopping complex, giving guests easy access to its beautiful boutiques and the capital’s best restaurants.
Ibis Styles hasn’t finished its round-the-world trip yet and we look forward to the new openings on the next lap of its journey!
