MGallery to open its first London hotel
The MGallery collection's first London hotel, located in St. James, just a short distance from Buckingham Palace and Westminster, will open its doors in April.
The property - St Ermin's Hotel - is owned and operated by US group Amerimar Enterprises, which has just signed a franchise agreement with Accor to launch this new address as part of the MGallery collection. The introduction of the label in the UK represents a milestone in Accor's UK development plan.
Jean-Jacques Dessors* commented, "The launch of MGallery in London underlines Accor's ambitious and aggressive expansion plans to grow its UK network to 300 hotels by 2015 in the UK, as well as increasing Accor's upscale offering in London. We are pleased to announce that St. Ermins, which will be a very exclusive hotel in London, is the first MGallery in the UK. St. Ermin's will be able to benefit from Accor's sales and distribution channels."
The hotel is ideally located near major London attractions and boasts 331 rooms, including 41 deluxe suites. It has been closed since January as it undergoes a major transformation.
